What is a headshot? It’s like the front cover of your book. Whether you're an actor, an astronaut or just a soul in this crazy world, your headshot speaks volume without saying a word.

What is the difference between a headshot and a portrait? A headshot focuses on the face, often for professional purposes, while a portrait captures a person's essence, encompassing more of their body and character with artistic intent.

Can you capture my portrait? Yes!

I hate having my photograph taken! It's common but you’ve got this. We're here to guide through a no stress, no fuss photo session. Just great shots.

Do you shoot musicians? Of course! We shoot models, comedians, artists. Anyone who needs a headshot or a portrait. If in doubt email us.

How many photos will you take during the session? More than you can use. Probably in the hundreds. After editing out the blinks and weird expressions we’ll send you digital proofs of the best so you can pick your favourites.

Can I purchase extra retouched images? Yep, purchase as many as you like for $55 each.

What is your usual turnaround? Within 24 hours your digital proofs will be delivered. Final images delivered 3 days after making your selection. 5 days for group sessions.

I need my final photos in a rush. We understand deadlines and can work to yours, please let us know on the day. Deadlines may incur a rush fee.

What should I wear to my photo shoot? This completely depends on what you want out of the shoot. Basically, the simpler the better. Choose clothes that make feel the best version of yourself. Always bring options on the day but if in doubt bring extra options and we’ll help you decide.

Some tips.

No stripes or complex patterns as they can distract the attention away from you and distort through the lens.

Avoid short sleeves and ostentatious jewellery in favour of solid colours, long sleeves, and elegant, understated jewellery.

If you are job seeking, dress as if you already have the role.

No patterns at all? Nothing too distracting.

Should I wear makeup? Go for it, but keep it you - enhance, don't transform. Let your true self shine through.

A little powder to take away the shine helps too.

Blemishes or pimples on the day of the shoot? Don’t worry, we’ll edit them out.

Just how much can you enhance my image? We recommend light retouching for authenticity. You can request advanced post-production to reduce wrinkles, smooth skin and do face re-sculpting. The choice is with you.

But I don’t want to look fake? Either do we! Keeping all your character is paramount.

Can my images be converted to black and white as well? Yes, at no cost! Let us know on the day of the shoot.

Can I see my images during the shoot? We shoot from camera to computer so you can view images during the shoot to provide feedback.

Can I bring a friend or family member for support? Of course!

Are there any hidden fees? No. GST is included on all prices.

What if I can’t find a session that’s convenient or need to shoot after-hours? Email us and we’ll get you sorted.

Do I have ownership of the photos? If the photos are for you, then you own the copyright. For businesses and corporations we retain copyright. Either way you're free to use them as you wish.

Will you use my photos on your website and social media? We love to show our clients photos on our website and social media, but we’ll always ask you first.
